Peter’s paintings are based on subjects found in articles, pictures, and advertisements that appear in newspapers and magazines. They often represent a brief time in everyday life. Peter is interested in that moment – its mood, light, and emotion – and wants to share those feelings with the viewer. A note about production… Peter's watercolors are reproduced in extremely limited numbers, so no expense is spared to ensure that best-available technologies are used to maintain the depth and detail of the original works. The original watercolors are scanned and digitally processed by MFA Talon Graphics, located in El Segundo, California, USA. A series of proofs is created from the processed scans. Peter then selects the proof candidate which best represents the original work. Once a proof is chosen, MFA Talon creates prints on fine art paper using their ultra high-end digital printing system. |
